With less than a month left in the WNBA regular season, MVP odds are on the move.
And the injury bug is impacting the MVP odds of one star in particular.
Indiana’s Caitlin Clark has lengthened to +30000 from +10000 over the last three weeks, as she’s battled a groin injury since July 15.
Napheesa Collier, the player at the top of the board, has also seen her odds shift, but so has reigning MVP A’ja Wilson.

Napheesa Collier, Lynx: -325 (bet $10 to win $13.08 total)
Alyssa Thomas, Mercury: +450 (bet $10 to win $55 total)
A’ja Wilson, Aces: +600 (bet $10 to win $70 total)
Sabrina Ionescu, Liberty: +10000 (bet $10 to win $1,010 total)
Allisha Gray, Dream: +25000 (bet $10 to win $2,510 total)
Caitlin Clark, Fever: +30000 (bet $10 to win $3,010 total)
Minnesota’s Napheesa Collier is still the heavy favorite to win the 2025 MVP. However, since Aug. 1, her line has moved to -325 from -1100. The Lynx boast a 28-5 record, and Collier is averaging 23.5 points and 7.5 rebounds.
Second on the board and closing in on Collier is Phoenix’s Alyssa Thomas. She’s surged to +450 from +700 since the beginning of the month. Thomas is averaging 16.2 points, 8.6 boards and 9.1 assists per game, with the Mercury sitting at 20-13.
Reigning MVP A’ja Wilson, now third, has also surged up the board. She’s moved to +600 from +3500 and is averaging 22.6 points and 9.9 rebounds on the season. Her Aces have a 21-14 record, placing them fifth in the standings.
In 2024, Wilson won the W’s most coveted individual award after averaging 26.9 points, 11.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
At the very bottom of the board is Indiana’s Caitlin Clark at +30000. She opened as the favorite to win MVP at +195, but her season has been riddled with injury setbacks.
Without a timetable to return, Clark’s odds will likely continue to decline as she sits out.
